Children's Garden Montessori School of Poulsbo takes advantage of the important early childhood years by providing a friendly and stimulating environment where your child can develop mentally, physically, and emotionally.

The beauty of the Montessori classroom is that children learn through exploring and working with materials in response to their own interests and readiness. The classroom is carefully prepared with the full set of Montessori materials so that children learn throughout the curriculum with the guidance of the Montessori teacher, who is keenly aware of each child’s needs and interests. The best moments are the “Ah ha!” as the child makes a new discovery and the "I did it!" of a new accomplishment.

We enjoy a country garden setting on ten acres of pasture and woodlands.  Our building was designed as a one-room schoolhouse and built to educational codes. We exceed the most rigorous standards for safety and security. Our school is clean, bright, and spacious, and is surrounded by lovingly kept gardens. It's an ideal place for children and parents to learn and make friends!
